Day +1:
Arrive at Dali, a historical and cultural city inhabited by Bai people. The visit today in this lovely city includes cruise on vast Erhai Lake, Xizhou Bai Minority Village to get some ideas of the Bais' flair for architecture and elegant living, and Three Pagodas - an emblem of the city's venerated history. Also enjoy wandering around the Dali Ancient Town first established in 1382 AD.

Today's excursion will bring you to the stunning Tiger Leaping Gorge. Get back to Lijiang County afterwards.
Tiger Leaping Gorge: 92 km north of Lijiang County, between peaks of over 3,000 meters above the Jinsha River (upper course of Yangtze River), the legend goes that tigers often leap to the other side of the river by a huge rock lying in the middle of the river at the entrance of the Gorge, hence the name, this 17-kilometer-long Gorge is honored as the deepest and one of the most marvelous gorges on the earth.

Day +1:
After breakfast, you will have a trip to the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Then Drive about 100km to Zhongdian (Shangri-la County) afterwards, where you will stay overnight.

Zhongdian (Shangri-la County): the capital of Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, where there are beautiful snow mountains, vast grasslands, plateau lakes, and exotic Tibetan customs, recently it has got the name Shangri-la which means "the sun and the moon in the heart" in Tibetan language. 

Day +2:
Your excursion today will bring you to Bita Lake, Napa Lake, Gedan Songzanlin Monastery. In the evening, pay a visit to a Tibet family, where you will enjoy a local Singing and Dancing Show with some special snacks. 

Bita Lake: 35km away from the County, meaning "the place where roburs become felts", it is a lake surrounding by mountains with clear water and abundant fish resources. Due to the road condition, you need to walk 7km on your own or ride a horse before you can get to the lake.

Napa Lake: 8km away from the County, meaning "the lake beside the forest", it is a lake on the plateau in the depths of the Yila Grass with mirror-like water and lots of precious fowls.

Gedan Songzanlin Monastery(Guihua Monastery): first built in 1679 AD and has been rebuilt many times, it is the biggest and the most important monastery of Tibetan Buddhism in Yunnan province. The architectural style of the building is a faithful imitation of the Potala Palace, so it is called as "the Small Potala Palace" and "Tibetan Art Museum".
