Although China has just had its greatest natural disaster in over thirty years, almost all of China's tourist destinations are unharmed and tours throughout China have continued uninterrupted. The quake could be felt in most provinces and regions of China except Jilin, Heilongjiang, and the Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Although Chengdu, the nearest city to the earthquakes epicenter was hit, damages were very minor and no tourists, foreign or domestic, were injured in it. The giant earthquake did trigger a smaller earthquake outside of Beijing, but no deaths have been reported and all tourist destinations, and Olympic venues were unharmed.

Wednesday May 14th to May 15th. China's southwest will experience light to moderate rainfall. The area around China's Sichuan Province and Yangtze River Delta will have moderate to extremely heavy rainfall over the next two days.
The earthquake's epicenter located in Wenchuan's weather forecast:
19th, May: Cloudy, and with the min and max temperature of 16℃ and 29℃ respectively, there will be the Max 13 light breeze;
20th, May: rain with sunny spells, with the min and max temperature of 16℃ and 28℃ respectively, there will the Max 10 light breeze;
21st, May: rain with sunny spells, and with the min and max temperature of 16℃ and 25℃ respectively, there will be the Max 9 light breeze.
