Dear Candy,

On behalf of our Greek Penelope group who made a splendid 16 days tour last October in your big and beautiful country, I wish to thank you and your Company for the extreme success of our trip, due to the hard work of Ms. Chen Jin Jing (Fay) in order to meet our requirements.

Before deciding to trust and rely on Tang Dynasty Travel, we had contacted other Chinese travel companies. The quick response and the personal telephone calls from our travel consultant Fay, made us believe that your Company was the one which we should choose. I was asked by my group to make all the e-mails and transactions with your Company and I had a perfect cooperation with Fay. As a former businessman and manager, I can assure you that Fay is a very good asset for you.

Fay's work was not easy at all, because we wanted a "tailored" trip and knew exactly what we liked to see of China. Our group was formed by "exigent" people who have experience in travelling (like Ulysses) in many countries around the World. All our expectations became true. We were very lucky that you appointed Fay as our "national" tour guide.

Her enthusiasm for the work she had to do, the care for each one of us, her good character and her natural kindness, left the best impressions to all of us.

Besides the good organisation of our trip, we have been impressed by China in general: the industrialisation, the hard work, the beauty of the Nature, the nice and friendly people, the gastronomic food, the care for preserving your national heritage, your philosophy and your secular and big History. We had the opportunity to discuss with all your good English speaking guides in each city, and so better understand your country and its civilization.

"We had been on a tour to China organized by Touchwood from Bombay, India. We were a group of ten people, and our trip was from the 5th to 15th April 2006. We enjoyed the trip thoroughly, very well organized......all the four shows were amazing, something we will remember for ever!

Our national guide allocated by you was Charles Li Yu. It was due to him that our trip was such a success and so very enjoyable. Charles was a very wonderful tour guide. He was very caring and considerate, a quality rarely seen these days. Always had a smile on his face and tried his very best to keep each one of us happy! We wish him all the best and plenty of success in his career.

Oh Candy, thank you and your entire staff for a job well done. We had a wonderful time. You were really great. Yes we got back OK. My body clock has not yet made the change. I am still sleeping the wrong time.

We have to talk business now. Can you send me the price for "Fantastic China Tour 13 days". Both 3 star and 4 star Hotels and "China Highlights Tours 10 Days". 3 and 4 star hotels for September or October 07. I want to start promote China while it is fresh in my mind.

We had such a great time in China, thanks to Tang Dynasty Travel. My clients enjoyed themselves so much also they can't wait to return.

Dear Candy,

It was a sincere pleasure to meet you personally. 
Your company is wonderful to work with and the staff are terrific.  It was a great trip to China.  I did not get a chance to leave the evaluation papers with you and will be faxing them within the next couple of days.  I think you will do well and I am pleased that so many people came to your booth and found that you are a wonderful compnay to work with.  I know you will be a success and that your presence at the IDE will be a successful decision that you have made.   I received an email from Agnes this morning and it was good to hear from her.  I hope we will see you in the states in the future.  I hope ASTA has told you about the Trade Show in Las Vegas and that you may want to entertain attending if not now in the future.  The exposure is the important part of expanding.  I am looking forward to working with you and your company.  I would like to contact Paul and see if we can do a link to your web site through our web site.

The trip was wonderful.  It was good to meet you and face the person that you communicate with.  The Banquet was lovely and such a pleasure to make new friends.  You did a great job for us.  I am so glad that we made the change in Shanghaii, The JCManadarin was wonderful.  We loved everything about it. Great choice and I would stay there and use the hotel again.  Michael and David are using it for their group to China.  We raved about it.  Location and everything.  We are doing well, my sister and I. Yes, it was a very long trip home.  I am just now starting to sleep a little bit more, Geting up later in the morning - can't sleep at night; but, I will get back.  I am looking forward to working with you in the future.

We had a great time, and the cooking classes were really nice. Thanks for setting these up. The differences in the cooking styles from region to region I expected, but it was also notable how different the teaching/school environments were in each location, which I found very interesting. All of them were enjoyable in different ways - Shanghai was the most educational in that it was very personalized, the teacher was great, detailed explanations of the different ingredients and explanation of why specific cooking steps or ingredients were used.  A good mixture of instruction and hands-on work with plenty of opportunity to ask questions - copies of the recipes in English and Chinese were provided which was very helpful. Dalian was very informal, the local family was really warm and hospitable, great food, the chef was very patient, and it really felt like going to a friend's home for a meal. A unique experience and I'd definitely recommend this family in future, as I think it was their first time doing this.
 
Finally, Chengdu was really interesting -  it was the most stressful, because it was a professional school and the fast pace of working in a professional kitchen with so many people around.  Since most of the students were already chefs, there wasn't too much instruction, it was more just trial by fire, by getting your hands dirty and using the woks and having the teacher yell orders at you, which I mostly could not understand!  Although stressful, it was still really fun!  I'll send you some pictures later to give you a feel for things.
 
The tour guides were all very good, and the tourguide in Dalian, Vivian Yan, deserves a special mention for being extremely helpful and enthusiastic and made that part of the trip very memorable.
 
Hotels were all fine, and the Tibet Hotel was by far the nicest one. I heard they will soon be upgrading their rating to 5* so look out for this.  I know that accommodation in Bing Yu Gou is limited, but it's probably worth letting you know that the hotel was definitely not 3* (at the hotel, they even said it was 4*). I'd say it was a 1* hotel.  It's not a big deal, because obviously there aren't many options out there, but if you have any other clients going there, it's probably good to let them know what to expect.

We were part of the Egyptian Riviera tour that was organized by your company. The trip was from 27/7/2005 to 8/8/2005.We visited Beijing , Tianjin & Shanghai.

My husband & I, Mr.Medhat Karim & myself, Mrs. Leila Mariy want to thank you on all your services. The trip was very well organized, the choice of Hotels was good, they were all very well situated. Also your choice of restaurants, their being all Muslim Restaurants, was a very good insight from your part, & we appreciated it very much.

Your buses were always on time, & the drivers were excellent ones. The trips were all very well prepared. We learned a great deal about China, which is a great country, due to your excellent guides. Mr.Harry in Beijing was very good, Mr.Jin in Tianjin & Mr. Michael in Shanghai, were excellent guides, full of information &always answering our questions.

As for Ms.Laura Gan, she was more than excellent….My husband & I have traveled far & wide, &have been on many ,many tours, but have yet to see such an excellent guide or `liason' manager…Her English language is perfect, so is her knowledge of her country .She is considerate, patient,& she manages to handle any problems that arise, quietly, efficiently & pleasantly. And we always felt that she was there to look after us. We believe that she was one of the main factors that made the trip such an enjoyable one.

My husband and I have just returned from a holiday in China (The Silk Road). We booked our holiday through Bunnik tours in Australia. I felt that I must write and say that the quality of the tour guides was excellent. We would especially like to mention Joyce, our national guide, who took so much trouble in making sure our every need was met. We would also like to mention Aileen (Kunming) who again was one of the best tour guides we have met. Not only was her English excellent, she again went out of her way to be helpful.
