The itinerary:
Summer Culture Tour
----Beijing / Xian / Guilin / Shanghai

Day 1 Arrival / Beijing ( )
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement
Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 2 Beijing (B, L, )
Today you will first visit the historic Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, and then the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will marvel at Beijing's splendid Temple of Heaven where you can learn how to fly kites.
Day 3 Beijing (B, L, )
Today we will take you to visit the majestic Great Wall at Mutianyu section, the Great Wall was built over 2,000 years ago and stretching about 6,700km (4163 miles).
Day 4 Beijing / Xian (B, L, D )
Transfer via: Train on our arrangement
In the morning, you will visit the Beijing Zoo, where you will see very cute animal that only exists in China - the Giant Pandas. In the afternoon, you will have a chance to learn about Chinese painting and Chinese calligraphy. Later today, our local guide will help you transfer to the train station for your train Z19 (takes about 11 hours) to Xian. Overnight on the train (soft sleeper, 4 people in one compartment).
Day 5 Xian (B, L, )
Arrive at Xian in the morning, our local guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel. After breakfast in the hotel, you will first visit the Ancient Wall which is the largest and best-preserved ancient fortress in the world (about 14km equals to 8.7 miles), on which you can ride a bicycle to circle the wall. The program in the afternoon is the highlight of the tour in Xi'an- the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors and Horses claimed as "the Eighth Wonder of the World".
Day 6 Xian (B, L, D )
Coach to Hu County (about 2 hours' drive from the downtown) where you will stay in local people's home for one night. The activity in Hu County starts with the visit in the local farmer's home, where you will learn how to make dumplings and you can enjoy the dumplings you make for the lunch. In the afternoon, we will bring you to some old and new villages, and there is possibility to pick up fruits in the local people's garden. Enjoy the performances directed by the local people tonight.
Day 7 Xian / Guilin (B, L, )
Transfer via: Flight on our arrangement
One more activity in Hu County - appreciate farmers' painting and paper-cut and learn how to make them in one of the local people's home before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival at Guilin, the most scenic city in China, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
Day 8 Guilin / Yangshuo (B, L, )
After breakfast, drive to Zhujiang Pier (about 40-minute drive) to start the boat cruise along the tranquil Li River which is the highlight in Guilin until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and reflections in the water together with the serene pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes, you are certainly walking into a traditional Chinese painting by cruising on it. After checking in the hotel in Yangshuo, you will experience an interesting and enjoyable cycling tour through the countryside road and partly along the Yulong River-a tributary of Li River, the cycling trip will take you about 2 to 3 hours depending upon your speed and the times you stop along the way.
Day 9 Yangshuo / Guilin / Shanghai (B, L, )
Transfer via: Flight on our arrangement
Get up early in the morning to learn Tai Chi in the Yangshuo Park. Later today, drive back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive) and visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave before transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
Day 10 Shanghai (B, L, D )
Today you will first visit the Science Museum, the Bund, Nanjing Road and then the Yu Garden and Yuyuan Market. Enjoy a wonderful Acrobatic Show in the evening.
Day 11 Shanghai (B, L, )
Another thrilling day to experience the dynamic Shanghai. First you will go through China's first cross-river artificial sightseeing tunnel - the Bund Sightseeing Tunnel to arrive at east bank of Shanghai, pay a visit to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, where on the sightseeing floor, you can get a bird's-eye view of Shanghai. Later, our driver will drive you through the Pudong New City. Free in the afternoon to explore this dynamic city by yourself.
Day 12 Shanghai / Exit (B, )
Transfer via: International flight on your own arrangement
Coach to Longyang Road to take the Maglev Train running at about 400km per hour to Pudong Airport, where you will take your international flight back to your sweet home.
