Student Group Tour in Guilin

This is one of the many successful cases of student group tours we have operated in the past. It shows how a student tour at Tang Dynasty Tours is operated, and how the services are integrated to providing a unforgettable experience for the students.

The case is about the summer tour of a group of 113 high school students which we operated in May, 2008. The tour focused on Guilin and Yangshuo. The students had great fun, and stimulated in field learning via various group activities.

Interesting Student Activities Arranged

• Activities: Learn how Chinese tea is picked and processed, practice Chinese tea ceremony, participate in Tai Chi class, countryside biking, rock climbing, traverse & abseiling, caving, kayaking, cross-culture communication activities at local primary school, and workshop of creative art at Yuzi Art Park.
• Teamwork & Volunteer: We divided the whole group into 6 teams, team building activities and games of various forms are conducted during the guided outdoor adventures including biking, rock climbing, kayaking, and picking tea leaves. Volunteer works, such as fixing the broken tables and chairs, are conducted during the culture interactions with local primary school pupils.
• BBQ & Cooking: Outdoor BBQ party for food and refreshment. Cook Chinese food in a culinary class for fun culture experience and enjoy the meals of own efforts.
