Itinerary 1:
A full day tour of Beijing including the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City and Summer Palace.
The Tian'anmen (Gate of Heavenly Peace) Square: the largest city square in the world and the spiritual heart of China, where the national flag is raised exactly at sunrise everyday.

The Forbidden City: located in the center of Beijing, used to be the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years, it is the grandest integral palace complex still remaining in China.
The Summer Palace: Located on the northwestern outskirts of the city, it was an imperial summer resort of the Qing Dynasty. With its perfect layout, magnificent buildings and enchanting landscape, it is the most splendid classical garden in China.
Itinerary 2:
A full day tour to the majestic Great Wall and Sacred Road.
The Great Wall: the most famous symbol of China and one of the world's most remarkable architectural wonders, it was built over 2,000 years ago and stretching about 6,700km.
The Sacred Road: the path lined with stone statues of animals, mystical beasts and officials who serve the emperor in his afterlife, through which the sitting emperors would go to perform memorial rituals for the ancestors once a year.
Itinerary 3:
A full day Hutong Tour by rickshaw plus the Temple of Heaven.

Hutongs:the old narrow paths with lots of courtyard homes where common people are living, they are like villages within megalopolis, through the hutongs' teeming maze of alleyways, you will see the old houses and learn about the daily life of ordinary Beijing citizens.
The Temple of Heaven: the place which was visited yearly by the emperors who performed intricate rituals to insure a good harvest for the whole nation at ancient times.
Itinerary 4:
A full day tour to Yonghe Lamasery (Lama Temple), Beihai Park and Beijing Zoo.
Yonghe Lamasery (Lama Temple): the largest preserved lamasery in Beijing, a Buddhist lamasery of the Yellow Hat sect, a sect that's mainly associated with Tibet, it is an extravagant building of some beauty, inside the temple, in the center of the Hall of Infinite Happiness (Wanfuge), stands a grand statue, an 85-foot-tall Tathagagata (Maitreya) Buddha made from a single Tibetan sandalwood tree.

BeihaiPark: was transformed into a royal garden around a 1,000 years ago. This imperial park is set around artificial lakes and the finest example of a classical Chinese garden. It was once reserved exclusively for the imperial family. There are pavilions, temples, halls, and covered walkways, and you can rent a rowboat for the lake. There are four gates to the park, which includes a 36 metre high White Dagoba in the centre of one islet, a painted gallery, and the enormous tiled Nine Dragon Screen. The Fangshan Restaurant within the park is said to have been a favorite with the Dowager Empress Cixi, who was fond of 120 course dinners.
Beijing Zoo: At present, the zoo houses over 7,000 creatures of 600 different species, including the giant panda, red-crowned crane and Pere David's deer-all unique to China-as well as the African giraffe, rhinoceros, chimpanzee and antelope; American continent; wild ox from Europe; and elephant and gibbon from India.
You can also combine the following optional evening shows in your trip to relax yourself and absorb more culture of this ancient city at the same time.

The Peking Opera: a kind of singing drama which is an ingenious and colorful combination of elements from many sources: traditional music, poetry, singing, recitation, dancing, acrobatics, and martial arts.
Acrobatic Show: China acrobatic show has a long history which can be traced back to Neolithic times. It is learned that acrobatics came from people's labour and self-defense skills. As the world economy developed, acrobatics was also developed into a kind of performance art. Acrobatics became well-known worldwide performing arts. The show lasts about one and half hours.
Kungfu Show: Kungfu has a long history in Chinese culture. This show is an unique show, it is not only a show of exhibition of Kungfu with fists, feet, swords, and other weapons, but also a show introducing a tale of learning and how a little monk developed to manhood. It is a great show showing the true meaning of Kungfu in Chinese culture. This newly-produced show is put on in the Red Theater located on the east of Tiantan Hotel in Xing Fu Dajie, Chongwen. The show lasts about one and half hours.
