Day 2 Beijing (B, L)

Historic Beijing has long been China’s political and cultural center. Today’s tour will unfold its grandeur when you go and visit some of Beijing’s greatest sights: the massive Tiananmen Square, the powerful Forbidden City hidden from public view for over 500 years. In the afternoon, you will marvel at the spectacular Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)

A walk along the majestic Great Wall (Mutianyu Section, around trip cable car included) stretching about 4000 miles will be one of the highlights and great travel experience for your lifetime, you will have enough time to stroll along this world wonder and contemplate what history left us and how great people can be. Also visit the Scared Road before returning to the city.

After breakfast, you will visit the exquisite Summer Palace. In the afternoon you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arriving in Xian, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out to discover what this amazing city has to offer.

Start your Xian exploration with visits to the incredible 6,000 life-size Terracotta Warriors and Horses arranged in battle formation to protect the mausoleum of the first emperor in Chinese history—Emperor QinShihuang since 2,200 years. Ancient City Walls considered as the largest and best-preserved ancient fortress in the world, and then to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda housing the sutras brought back from India by the famous monk Xuan-zang in Tang Dynasty.

After breakfast, you will tour The Great Mosque and Muslim community before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.

Day 7 Shanghai (B, L)
Accommodations: on TDT’s arrangement
Today you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future. Later you will take a stroll through Yu Garden, and after get a taste of Shanghai’s local life in the Yuyuan Market. You will later visit the Old French Concession Streets to see the old French style villas located there.

Day 8 Shangahi (B, L)
Accommodations: on TDT’s arrangement
After breakfast, you will visit historic Zhujiajiao village (50 minute drive from Shanghai). At Zhujiajiao, you will walk through Fangsheng Bridge, Beida Street, and the Xi Family Residence. You will feel as though you have stepped back in time. After your trip to this beautiful village, you will be driven back to Shanghai.

You will be free on this day until your personal guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your sweet home.

Day 2 Beijing (B, L)

On this day you will first visit Tiananmen Square followed by the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon you will marvel at the incredible Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)

You will visit to the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section) and Sacred Road.

You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors in the morning. After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Walls and then Xian’s Ancient Bell Tower.

After breakfast, you will tour the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi Provincial Museum before your guide escorts you to the airport your flight to your next destination Guilin. Upon your arrival at Guilin, the most scenic city in China, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 7 Guilin / Yangshuo B, L)

After breakfast, drive to Zhujiang Pier (about 40-minute drive) to start the boat cruise along the tranquil Li River (deluxe boat with buffet lunch onboard) which is the highlight in Guilin until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and reflections in the water together with the serene pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes, you are certainly walking into a traditional Chinese painting by cruising on it. Stay overnight in Yangshuo to enjoy the fabulous night life here.

Day 8 Guilin / Shanghai (B, L)

Drive back to Guilin (1.5 hours). Have a half-day city tour of the Elephant Hill and the Reed Flute Cave. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival at Shanghai, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

After breakfast, you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future. Later, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower.

You will be free until your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
